ITV programmes nominated across a range of genres at The Royal Television Society Programme Awards

ITV has picked up 11 nominations at The RTS Programme Awards, spanning comedy entertainment, drama, current affairs, sport and daytime.

Two out of the three nominations in the presenter category are for ITV talent, with NTA winner Martin Lewis nominated for The Martin Lewis Money Show and Grierson Award winner Ramita Vavai nominated for ITV Exposure film, Afghanistan: No Country for Women.

Critically acclaimed Drama Anne, about the late Hillsborough campaigner Anne Williams is nominated for best Limited Series, and Stephen Walters is nominated for his portrayal of Anne’s husband, Steve Williams.

Sorry I Didn’t Know, the only comedy panel show about Black history, also picked up two nominations, for best Comedy Entertainment programme, and for the Breakthrough Award, for Eddie Kadi. 

Monica Dolan is nominated in the Leading Actor (Female) category, for her role as Anne Darwin, wife of the man who faked his own death to claim life insurance and avoid bankruptcy, in ITV’s hit drama series The Thief, His Wife and the Canoe. 

Roy Keane received a nod in the Sports Presenter, Commentator or Pundit category, for his work on ITV1 and ITV4  with ITV Sport, during the FIFA World Cup 2022.

The writers of ITVX comedy from RISE films, Plebs: Soldiers of Rome, are nominated in the Writer: Comedy category, and  Jordan Stephens features in the Entertainment Performance list, for Don’t Hate The Playz.

Previous RTS Award winner Loose Women is once again nominated in the Daytime category,  for its special Loose Men episode.
